The upgraded version of the NX500 model from Honda has been launched in India at Rs. 7,43,900 (ex-showroom). Honda has upgraded its motorcycle with the new E-Clutch technology. With the introduction of the latest Honda adventure motorcycle in India, it becomes the first bike by Honda to get an E-Clutch.

The new technology of E-Clutch consists of electrically-controlled actuators that activate and deactivate the clutch automatically without involving the rider in any process. Riders can ride off from a stationary position without engaging the clutch lever as well as shifting gears with the help of this mechanism.
In addition to this, there is a facility for manual engagement of the E-Clutch mechanism as well through a lever. It will prove to be extremely helpful for beginners riding larger machines. As a novice rider may face difficulty while operating such machines with high capacity, E-Clutch will help them to ride the bike smoothly.

Honda has also made changes to the NX500’s colour scheme. There are currently two colours available for the NX500, which are Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic and Pearl Horizon White.
Apart from that, the rest of the bike is basically the same in terms of its mechanics. The bike still uses the same engine capacity of 471cc, which produces 46.9bhp and 43Nm.
