- Offered internationally in two variants
- Features a sporty and aggressive design
- Would be able to compete with the Yamaha Aerox 155
Airblade design patent filed by Honda in India. The Airblade is an exciting motorcycle produced by Honda from Japan in two engine options: 125cc and 160cc engine size.
The design of the Airblade includes an aggressive headlight section, a spine on the floorboard, and sleek bodywork. Previously, Honda has filed patents for the designs of the scooters that were sold overseas but by Honda in India. It does not imply that the scooters will be introduced in India by the company.

However, from the patent application documents, it is still unclear whether the Airblade motorcycle design belongs to the 125cc or 160cc variant. Nevertheless, the introduction of the 160cc variant seems to be more feasible than the 125cc one. It can be introduced as a competitor to the popular Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160.
The Airblade 160 model runs on a 157cc, liquid-cooled, and single-cylinder engine capable of generating 14.7bhp and 14.8Nm. It also weighs 113kg, which means that the model is 29kg lighter compared to the Hero Xoom 160 and 13kg lighter than the Yamaha Aerox 155.
