Benelli’s New BKX 300 Twins Are Ready for Adventure & Streets
  • Adventure has 229mm ground clearance
  • Naked has 17-inch alloy wheels with 820mm seat height
  • Liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine

In addition, Benelli has added new BKX 300 and BKX 300 S models to the BKX lineup for 2026. However, there is no confirmation of any India launch date yet from Benelli. Nevertheless, both of these bikes are expected to hit the international market by mid-May 2026. Should they be launched in India as well, then the BKX 300 line-up can prove interesting to look out for as they will occupy a gap between small-capacity adventure motorcycles and touring motorcycles.

Both of these bikes are equipped with a 292.4cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine capable of producing 28.6bhp maximum power and 24Nm peak torque. As a result, BKX 300 and BKX 300 S fall in the category of 250cc to 300cc motorcycles that have become increasingly popular in India today. Bikers will find it useful for daily commuting, recreational trips and touring on rough terrains. The fuel efficiency of the engine means you will cover decent distances even with the 12-litre fuel tank.

The BKX 300 model will come with 19 inches of spoked wheels at the front and 17 inches at the rear. Riders can easily ride this bike over gravel and light trails without any issues. It has 180mm of wheel travel and 229mm of ground clearance for going off trail easily. However, the 860mm seat height will make it difficult to operate this bike for most riders.

The BKX 300 S is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, which makes it easier to turn on the road surface. The naked bike would be suited for urban riding due to its upright position. It has 150mm of suspension travel, 820mm of seat height, and weighs 153 kg dry. With the low seat height, reduced weight, and tarmac wheels, it should be easy to ride in the urban environment.

The two bikes come with a 41mm telescopic front fork with adjustments for preload, compression, and rebound. Both bikes have adjustable footrests that can be moved through two positions. Riders can customize the riding triangle to suit their needs. Features include an LCD instrument console and a USB port, no frills but useful.

In terms of competition, the adventure model would sit in a similar class as the KTM 250 Adventure, Suzuki V-Strom SX, and Royal Enfield Scram 440. The naked S model would be better suited for those who are targeting a road-oriented bike between 250cc and 300cc with an upright seating position and reduced touring capabilities. Pricing will be an issue for Benelli, but with some potential GST gains on offer, these two models could find their way into India.
