It seems that the Indian brand Bajaj Auto has unveiled the Avenger Street 220 2026 in India. This cruiser model is retailed at Rs. 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available on the company’s official website.
The cruiser model, the Street 220, costs slightly more than the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 that retails at Rs. 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, the brand has discontinued the Avenger Street 160 model in India, and now only two models of the Avenger – the Avenger Street 220 and the Avenger Cruise 220, are available in India.

It is equipped with the same 220 cc, air/oil-cooled engine like the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 motorcycle. This single cylinder engine develops 19 bhp power at 8,500 rpm along with a maximum torque of 17.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It comes mated to a five-speed transmission system.

The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 motorcycle has received some ergonomic modifications in which a lowered handlebar position allows the rider to have a more commanding sitting position. This model doesn’t feature any backrest, while it offers a tiny visor instead of the high windshield seen on the Avenger Cruise 220 motorcycle. Two colors options are available; Ebony Black and Cocktail Wine Red.
