New Hero HF Deluxe Flex Fuel Launched in India
  • Is compatible with E85 fuel
  • The upgraded version costs Rs. 13,315 more than the basic model, so it’s pricier by that amount.
  • Gets a special black colour scheme

Hero has rolled out the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel in India for Rs. 72,792 (that’s ex-showroom in Delhi). This bike got some upgrades to work with E85 fuel, which is basically 85% ethanol mixed with 15% petrol.

You’ll pay Rs. 72,792 for the Flex Fuel version, which is Rs. 13,315 more than the basic HF Deluxe. It’s also Rs. 172 pricier than the HF Deluxe Pro.

But here’s the thing – the engine specs stayed the same. So, it still runs on that 97.2cc air-cooled single-cylinder motor cranking out 8.4bhp and 8.3Nm of torque. Still, there’s this new ECU and better fuel system bits that allow it to run smoothly on E85. For your info, when it runs on E20, it puts out around 7.9bhp and 8.05Nm.

Now, Hero didn’t forget about aesthetics. They slapped on a special black and lime yellow paint job to set it apart. Plus, it sports a snazzy new twin-pod semi-digital dash featuring an analog speedo and a digital fuel gauge. Oh, and it includes that handy side-stand cut-off feature too.

The bike stays the same except for what was already mentioned. It has a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Plus, it rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires. For stopping, it uses drum brakes front and back.
