Hero Motorcorp just released the Hero Splendor+ Flex Fuel in India for Rs 82,810 (ex-showroom). That’s about Rs 5,000 more than the standard E20 compatible version.
The new bike gets around 36 upgrades to handle up to E85 gasoline. This includes a new fuel pump, a secondary air filter, and some ECU mapping adjustments. It’s based on the current Splendor+, but these tweaks make all the difference.

It packs a 97.2cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 8.4bhp and 8.3Nm torque—numbers true when fueled with E85. On E20, it steps down to 7.91bhp and 8.05Nm. Besides the upgrades under the hood, they revamped its look with fresh graphics and a digi-analog instrument cluster.
This Flex Fuel Splendor+ arrives as the Government of India eyes blends above E20. Since the chat’s about E27, E30, even E85 in the future, this bike fits right in.
