The launch of the Ultraviolette Tesseract is planned to take place in January 2027. The company, in fact, plans to start delivery in January 2027 itself. Deliveries of the highly awaited electric scooter of the company were expected to start this year but were postponed owing to certain reasons.
According to Ultraviolette, after its successful introduction in early 2025, the company took the scooter to 30 Indian cities to test out customer responses and reactions to the scooter. This, along with other innovations, has resulted in certain changes being made.
For instance, the seating area of the Tesseract has been increased with more foam added for comfortable seating of both the rider as well as the passenger sitting beside him or her. Also, the design of the floorboard has been changed such that short heighted people can sit with ease.

While these are the visual changes, the list of changes made below the hood is extensive. The new change has been made on the Tesseract and now it boasts a 100V architecture, making it the first electric scooter in India to have this kind of architecture.
This gives many benefits including improved thermal performance, increased continuous power, and reduced costs. In addition to this, it makes charging faster and gives three times more power.
The other important part that has been redeveloped includes the BMS which is much smaller and weighs only 2.5kg as compared to the one used by the Ultraviolette X-47.

All these changes have delayed the Tesseract’s development and thus its launch.
The production-ready Tesseract is going to one of the fastest scooters ever produced thanks to the power-packed 15kW engine. Top speed for the Tesseract stands at an impressive figure of 125km/h. It comes loaded with features like ABS, traction control, and radar assistance to alert the rider of any car coming up from the blind spots in the mirrors.
The battery sizes will come in three variants – 3.5kWh, 4kWh, and 6kWh batteries. The starting price tag for the scooter will be Rs. 1.45 lakhs, ex-showroom.
