Hero’s latest motorcycle Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 was recently unveiled in India priced at Rs. 86,500 (ex-showroom). The bike gets cosmetic changes, new features, and better fuel economy according to Hero.
In terms of powertrain, the bike continues to use the 124.7cc, single-cylinder engine which provides power output of 10.7bhp and torque of 10.6Nm. As per the claims made by Hero, fuel efficiency has been increased to 72kmpl due to the idle start-stop system.
There is also an Integrated Starter Generator installed in the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 to provide a quiet engine starting performance and smooth engine restart in traffic situations.

Coming to the features department, Hero bikes the latest Super Splendor model with fully digital instrument cluster with built-in Bluetooth functionality. This feature provides call and SMS notifications, caller ID, remaining mobile battery information, real-time mileage information, and low fuel notification facility.
Regarding safety, there are hazard lights, front disc brakes, and a kill switch for the engine located on the handlebars.

As for the aesthetics, the company has done some changes in its appearance by introducing dual-tone paint, new color variants, new badging as XTEC 2.0, rim tapes, and stitched seat with two different textures.
The new variant comes in five colors, namely Glossy Black, Candy Blazing Red, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue, and Matt Chestnut Brown.
