- Ultraviolette says the motorcycle’s battery health remains at 95 per cent

A rider of the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 has created two world records by traveling more than 1,46,000 km. Both these records have been certified by Kalam’s World Records and World Records India.
In the first record-breaking journey, 3,000 km was covered in 19 days from Panitanki, Korala, Jaigaon, Nathu La, Batang La Tri Junction, to Fulbari. The journey was done under extremely harsh climatic conditions wherein the temperature fell down as low as minus 10 degrees Celsius.

In addition to breaking the first record, the client also achieved the longest distance record for cross-country travel by riding an electric motorcycle. The customer had travelled more than 1.2 lakh kilometres over 600 days to cover all states in India.
The company claims that its battery packs remained at 95 percent health status despite travelling over 1.46 lakh kilometers. The motorcycle had consumed 6,999 kWh of power during the journey and recycled 97kWh using regenerative technology.

There are several factors why people hesitate while embarking on tour journeys using electric motorcycles, one of which being charging infrastructure. According to the company, it has been working with Bolt.Earth in setting up more than 130 fast charging stations in seven Indian states.
