Triumph Motorcycles India has recently launched two variants of the popular Tiger series, namely, Tiger 900 Alpine Edition and Tiger 900 Desert Edition. Priced starting from Rs. 15.35 lakh for the Alpine Edition and Rs. 16.05 lakh for the Desert Edition (all prices listed ex-showroom India). As mid-sized bikes from the range of adventure bikes manufactured by Triumph Motorcycles, both the variants belong to the series in between the Tiger 800 and Tiger 1200 series for those customers who prefer something between the two rather than shifting up.
Tiger 900 Alpine Edition designed for road biased adventures comes in two colors: Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black and features Aegean Blue details on the bike giving it an elegant look.

Tiger 900 Desert Edition appears tougher with the combination of Urban Grey and Sapphire Black paint job along with Baja Orange highlights. This one surely exudes some definite off-roading style. Features of the Tiger 900 Desert Edition include Akrapovic silencer, Showa long travel suspension and protective bars

Both bikes are equipped with Triumph’s 900cc T-Plane three cylinder engine producing 105 bhp maximum power. The design of T-Plane firing order aims at giving the engine a more user-friendly characteristic performance particularly at low and mid-range speeds.
