The Reload 650 motorcycle has been produced through the collaboration of Roland Sands Design and engineers of Royal Enfield Company. Such custom motorcycle production is not done in haste; rather, the parts used should fit into place, withstand testing and ride within the scope of practical necessities. The reload concept relies on the more engineering-oriented way of producing custom motorcycles.

The design concept of this motorcycle has been inspired by 1980s superbikes through the implementation of a sharper tail and sleeker sides compared to the standard Shotgun 650 motorcycle. For a serious tone, there is an installation of S&S exhaust pipes for an enhanced sound effect. The suspension is equipped with improved components made by Ohlins company both in front and back for a more pronounced posture. The cockpit features have been customized by means of the installation of a custom riser and a straighter handlebar setup.

The absolutely stunning set of golden wheels has been created by Roland Sands Design taking hints from the classic five spoke Morris wheels. Gold coloring will give it that period appropriate performance look that matches its 1980s superbike theme perfectly. The ribbed style theme has been taken up by the RSD team, hinting at some classic hot rod styling. Apart from the wheels, they have also designed a few accessories including the shift lever, footpeg, and fender strut cover.
