The Avenger Cruise 220 model costs Rs. 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom price), and the Street 220 variant is expected to be slightly cheaper than this variant. Apart from the Cruise 220 variant, the Avenger Street 160 variant seems to be discontinued by Bajaj Auto in India, since the model is no longer available on their website.

The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 model is expected to use the same engine as used in Avenger Cruise 220. This is a single cylinder air/oil-cooled motor that delivers 19bhp at 8,500 rpm while offering a maximum torque of 17.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm.

In addition to this, it lacks the pillion backrest while the large size windshield of the former has been replaced with the stubby visor. Further, the motorcycle also gets black treatment on the chassis and other components. Two colours would be made available, Ebony Black and Cocktail Wine Red.
