All variants of Yamaha’s sportbike R15 V4 have been made costlier by Yamaha Motor India. The bike has become costlier by Rs. 4,900, and the updated prices are effective from this month onwards. These increased prices are due to the rise in input as well as logistic costs. Given below are the updated prices of the bike depending on the variant.

R15M Carbon Fibre: Rs. 1,96,100

R15M MotoGP Edition: Rs. 1,87,500

R15M: Rs. 1,86,000

R15 Dual Tone: Rs. 1,75,700

R15 Dark Knight: Rs. 1,72,00

This price hike appears too much for a motorcycle of the R15’s class. But considering the huge fan following and popularity enjoyed by the motorcycle, it should not really make much difference to its prospective buyers. The R15 sports bike is a unique one as it has a design, hardware, and seat positioning that cannot be found in any other motorcycle in this category in India. Furthermore, the R15 comes with plenty of technological bells and whistles.

The bike has a dry weight of 141kg and has an 11 liter fuel tank. The R15 sports bike is supported by a Deltabox frame with an aluminum swingarm, USD front forks, and link-type monoshock.
