Kawasaki Unveils the New KX327 and KX327X with Fuel-Injected 2-Stroke Power

Kawasaki just revealed two new off-road bikes for 2027: the KX327 and KX327X. They both come with a brand-spanking-new 327cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, two-stroke engine. This marks the first time Kawasaki has made a new two-stroke engine bigger than 250cc in over two decades.

These bad boys use an aluminum frame similar to the KX450F, weighing in at 106 kg. The new fuel injection should give super accurate fueling no matter the temperature or altitude. Plus, it maintains that zippy throttle response everyone loves in two-strokes.

Both the motorcycles have the same engine and chassis but cater to different types of riders. The KX327 is for motocross and has a close-ratio five-speed gearbox along with a 19-inch rear wheel. On the other hand, the KX327X is built for cross-country and trail riding. It includes a wide-ratio six-speed transmission, an 18-inch rear wheel, and a larger 8.3-liter fuel tank. Plus, it has handguards, a bash plate, a rear disc guard, and a side stand.

The suspension setup on both bikes consists of a KYB 48mm USD fork and Kawasaki’s Uni-Trak rear monoshock. For stopping power, they come equipped with Nissin calipers matched with 270mm front and 240mm rear petal discs. Also, both bikes include an electric starter and two selectable engine power modes.

In the US, the KX327 will cost you $9,099 (around Rs. 8.71 lakh), whereas the KX327X goes for $9,699 (around Rs. 9.28 lakh). They should hit the stores towards the end of 2026.
