The recently launched Honda Super-N is an electric hatchback that aims to bring some fun to the boring segment of city EVs. The car comes for the price of £18,995, which roughly translates to Rs. 22 lakh in India. The Honda Super-N takes design cues from the classic City Turbo II from the 1980s and has compact proportions along with the driving feel of the vehicle.
Based on Honda’s N-Series cars available in Japan, the Honda Super-N measures only 3,599mm in length but offers plenty of usability. According to Honda, the interior of the car can fit four people with ease, and its patented Magic Seats ensure that the trunk capacity can be increased from 162 litres to 967 litres.

The weight of the Super-N equals 1,097kg, and its WLTP range is 206km, but its city range goes as high as 320km. As for fast charging, it takes about thirty minutes to charge the battery to 80 per cent of its capacity.

Yet, the Super-N is designed to target a completely different customer. Unlike some other models, the Honda Super-N is not created for affordability and efficiency but is built for fun. It is lightweight, has the BOOST mode, simulated gearbox and specially tuned chassis.
Thus, the Super-N stands out in a market dominated by heavy and appliance-like
