Bajaj has released an extensive line-up of enhancements to its Chetak electric scooter line-up. The scooters come with new upgrades, enhanced performance, and a new naming scheme. The refreshed range will use the ‘C series’ naming format with C25, C30, and C35 variants available.
Under the new refreshment, the premium C35 01 version receives built-in Google Maps navigation via the Chetak app. Moreover, Bajaj has raised the maximum speed of each variant in the range.

The premium C35 01 and C35 02 variants feature a maximum speed of 80kmph compared to 73kmph in earlier versions. At the same time, the C35 03 and C30 01 variants have a maximum speed of 70kmph. Meanwhile, the base C25 01 variant has a maximum speed of 60kmph.
Apart from the faster speed range, there is an increase in the engine capacity of the top model from 4.5kW to 4.8kW. There is also a decrease in charging time in the C30 01, where the 0-80 per cent charging time takes two hours and 55 minutes, down from three hours and 50 minutes previously.
In addition, the Chetak motorcycles will now have ride modes such as the Eco and Sports mode, together with the hill-hold feature, which was earlier provided as an option at an extra cost. The two models, namely the C35 01 and C35 02, will also be capable of receiving over-the-air software updates from the comfort of your home.
