The prices of the Toyota Fortuner Legender have been substantially raised too. The price hike in the 4×2 diesel AT model is ₹75,000, and the 4×2 diesel MT version has been made ₹78,000 expensive. Further, the 4×4 mild hybrid diesel model has also been increased in price by ₹83,000.

The post hike prices of the Legender AT and MT variants are now Rs 48.29 lakh and Rs 45.08 lakh respectively.

The Toyota Fortuner will have competition from other premium SUVs such as the soon-to-be-launched MG Majestor in the Indian market.

This is because of rising production costs and the introduction of safety measures along with rising demands for premium SUVs that companies are slowly increasing prices.

However, the demand for Toyota Fortuner remains high in the Indian market, particularly for people who love their SUVs with road appeal, engine durability, and off-road abilities.
