Yamaha Motor India has started hiking the prices of its two-wheeler segment and the latest one to join the list of bikes receiving a price increase is the Yamaha FZ-X. The price of the entry-level variant of Yamaha FZ-X motorcycle has been increased by Rs. 2,500 whereas the cost of the DLX version is hiked by Rs. 2,800. The standard variant of Yamaha FZ-X costs Rs. 1.25 lakh, whereas the DLX variant costs Rs. 1.43 lakh. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom, Maharashtra.
This hike in price is due to the rise in logistics and input costs. Other than the price revision, there has been no change in the Yamaha FZ-X bike. It still comes powered with a 149 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 12.2 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 13.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.
