However, the updated VF 8 has had many improvements. Though targeted at Vietnam and North American markets, there is a clear Indian angle that has emerged now. There are many enhancements in the VF 8 such as enhanced styling, premium interior, and software-led capabilities.
It is offered in India in a long wheelbase (LWB) form, measuring 4,701mm long with a 2,840mm wheelbase. The car has features like a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment display, dual-zone air-conditioning, reclining rear seats, and a host of ADAS features.

There are several enhancements underneath the skin as well. The updated VF 8 uses frequency selective dampers for better comfort. It has a 228hp electric motor with a 60.13kWh battery pack. Its range stands at up to 500km in NEDC conditions. Fast charging from 10% to 70% will take less than 30 minutes.

The brand VinFast is just getting started in India. It is currently building the trust of customers in the country. However, the brand has progressed very quickly with the opening of Tamil Nadu plant, local assembly, launching of three models.
