- Two ICE and EV facelifts announced
Tata Motors is planning to launch six new models for fiscal year 2027. It will begin the launch process of its six-products lineup by launching the Sierra EV during the second quarter of this fiscal year. After the Sierra EV, two ICE models facelifts, two EV facelifts, and finally its Avinya range of models will be launched by Tata during Q3 and Q4 of fiscal year 2027. Along with these six models, the Tata Motors will launch the Safari EV, which is a long overdue product.
The Safari EV model will hit the market during the festive period, while the Avinya models are expected to steal the show at the 2027 Bharat Mobility Expo, hosted by Tata Motors. In fact, it has become clear that Tata Motors will have its own separate space at the expo dedicated to the experience of the Avinya range. The first model to roll out of the Avinya range is set to be an enormous SUV priced between Rs. 40 lakh and Rs. 50 lakh.

No news regarding the upcoming facelifts, but that could easily be an enhancement for the Nexon/Nexon EV series since they’ve been around in their present version for close to three years already. The Nexon SUV is Tata’s cash cow, and updating it with newer versions from its competitors can help put it back into contention. As for the second, it could easily be the Tiago/Tiago EV, as prototypes of this have been observed testing around for several months now. Of course, nothing can be confirmed for sure at the moment.
