The power behind Brutale 1000 ABT lies in MV Agusta’s extremely rare and powerful 1000cc in-line four cylinder engine, generating a mighty 201bhp and 116nm at 13,500 and 11,000 rpm respectively. The racing package comprising the Arrow Titanium four-exit slip-on system and ECU maps raises the power to 208bhp at 14,000 rpm! It can be noted here that both the exhaust and ECU map are for racing purposes alone.

Brutale 1000 ABT gets redesigned camshafts along with a completely new engine mapping process and more sensitive throttles. Other updates include improved gear ratios and the use of shorter final drive ratio. The Ohlins electronic suspension features the Nix EC upside-down titanium nitride coated hydraulic front fork. The rear part is suspended using the EC TTX progressive shock absorber.

MV Agusta has also made use of forged wheels on both sides to minimize unsprung weight. And here you have the beautiful carbon wheel cover for the rear wheel. This wheel cover has been inspired from the turbofan wheels used in racing and does more than just looking good.

The extremely powerful brake system comes with Brembo Stylema monobloc front callipers, with the racing version having 320mm Braking Batfly front discs meant for racing purposes. This disc uses the contour channel technology that helps with heat dispersion and also improves self-cleaning, giving the rider consistency even during extreme braking.

The total aesthetic of the Brutale 1000 ABT model revolves around the Nero Carbonio Metallizzato and Rosso Fuoco color scheme. Decals are used to enhance the graphics on this model through water transfer decals, which have been encapsulated with the clear coat. One side bears the German flag and the “From The Racetrack to The Road” inscription by ABT, whereas the other side bears the Italian flag and the “Motorcycle Art” inscription by MV Agusta.
