The Nissan Gravite CNG is the first sub-four-meter MPV to offer an option of twin CNG cylinders from a manufacturer in India. It is offered by the dealership as an after-sales add-on kit and is available starting from ₹83,000 (as per the chosen model price). It is a first-of-its-kind introduction in the MPV segment.

It is equipped with two 25-liter (equivalent to water) CNG tanks. It is supported by a three-year or 100,000 km warranty period. The fuel inlet point is positioned within the fuel cap assembly. This kit will be available through the Nissan dealer network from 60 cities in 16 states from May 4, 2026.
The retrofitted Gravite CNG model utilizes the same engine configuration – 1.0L NA petrol engine. The transmission system is a five-speed manual transmission. While there is an automatic manual transmission option for the petrol variant, Nissan has not yet confirmed if the CNG variant can also avail itself of this feature.

The present configuration of the Gravite CNG model consists of two CNG tanks mounted on top of each other inside the boot, resulting in a significant reduction in cargo capacity. This may only be a temporary solution, as the manufacturer has already introduced an underbody CNG storage tank configuration.
