Big Update! Renault to Launch 7-Seater SUV + Compact SUV in India

Renault’s Big India Plan: 7 SUVs by 2030 – Family & Urban Models Coming

With most of the decade gone by with minimal activity in the Indian market, Renault is set to have some ambitious plans in the remaining years of the decade. The company recently unveiled its latest iteration of the Duster range, and it intends to launch three new models during the decade. Two out of the remaining three new models that Renault plans to launch in India by 2030 have already been confirmed.

The first of these two upcoming models from Renault would be a three-row variant of the SUV range. The vehicle will share several similarities with the current iteration of the Renault Duster but with its own distinctiveness. While the Renault Duster comes with a tough and functional appeal inside and out, it can be expected that the upcoming three-row SUV will carry a more poised character.

Renault could also introduce additional paint choices for the vehicle. Classier 18-inch rims may also be featured in the Renault Kadjar 3-row edition. There would be a more refined interior that would incorporate better material. Even the upholstery would be entirely redesigned. Two types of layouts – 2+3+2 and 2+2+2 could be available.

It is anticipated that the features like electric tailgate operation, digital instrument cluster of 10.25 inches with complete map display capability, Google-enabled 10.1-inch touch-screen entertainment system, dual-zone automatic climate control, 6-way adjustable front seats with ventilation and manual lumbar support, Level 2 ADAS, and other features will be available in the all-new Duster. Other probable features would be second row seat ventilation and recline, boss mode, and rear sun shades.

There will probably be a 1.2-litre turbo four-pot gasoline engine that can deliver 161 horsepower and 280 Nm torque. There will probably be two variants of the transmission, which will include either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed dual wet clutch automatic gearbox. The hybrid variant of the car might come out several months after the release, which is slated for October.

After the Renault three-row SUV, Renault will introduce the Bridger, a compact SUV to the Indian market. The Renault Bridger will be offered as a premium vehicle, and its distinguishing feature is its SUV-like characteristics. The Renault Bridger will compete directly with the production version of the Mahindra Vision.S concept, which is set for release in early 2027.
