BMW has unveiled the M440i Convertible in the Indian market, available at a price point of ₹1.09 crore (ex-showroom). This sports car will be added to the expanding family of M Performance models, which can also turn out to be an excellent lifestyle option for automobile fans.
The M440i Convertible sports a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine with a power output of 369 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. The six-cylinder petrol engine comes paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system. The vehicle has a top speed of 250 km/h, limited electronically.

Whereas the previous generation had a folding hard-top roof, the latest M440i has a fabric soft-top roof that opens and closes in 18 seconds at a speed of 50km/h.
In terms of styling, it adopts the same design language as the 4 Series, with a big kidney grille, LED headlights, body curves, and sporty bumpers. The car is fitted with 19-inch alloys with a staggered setup, whereas the rear is designed with LED wraparound taillights and dual exhausts.
There is also a four-seat design inside that incorporates a double screen, consisting of a 14.9-inch touch screen display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. Besides this, the car also incorporates a flat-bottomed steering wheel and leather seats along with many more comfort amenities.

The M440i Convertible competes against the Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet in India, which retails for Rs 1.16 crore (ex-showroom).
