New Norton Atlas Set to Launch in India by Late 2026

The Norton Atlas will be launched in the Indian market later this year. This was mentioned by the company when launching the production of the Atlas bike at TVS’ Hosur plant located in the state of Tamil Nadu. We believe that the launch of the bike will coincide with the start of the festival period in India.

With the official dates of the roll-out of the reviving Norton’s first ADV bike already available now, one thing for sure would be that the bike will hopefully come out with a reasonable price tag. The manufacturing of the bike in India will help the company to offer it at an attractive price point but one thing that cannot be forgotten is that the Norton brand is positioned in the premium category.

One thing that is definite is that the Norton Atlas and the Atlas GT will be the best equipped bike in its category. The features list of the bike is way longer than those bikes like Kawasaki Versys 650 and Honda NX500. You get a 8-inch Touchscreen TFT display, Navigation, 4 Ride Modes, Traction Control and Keyless Ignition with Electric Release of Fuel Filler Cap & Steering Lock.

The bike is powered by a 585 cc water cooled twin-cylinder engine producing 69bhp at 9,300 rpm and 57.5Nm torque at 7,300 rpm. The engine is mated to a six speed transmission, equipped with bidirectional quick-shifter.

We will test ride the new Norton Atlas and Atlas GT soon. Till then, watch this space for the review.
